Brother Muhammad Mustapha is a seasoned airline executive with a distinguished career at Singapore Airlines, where he has held diverse roles in airport operations, sales and distribution, regional sales and marketing, and inflight operations. His international assignments have taken him to Brunei, Russia, and the United States, overseeing airport operations. Currently, he manages Airport Operations in Singapore. Brother Mustapha’s association with the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) began early through active participation in religious, sports, and cultural activities. His time abroad deepened his appreciation for family and community values, inspiring his return to STMWS. Since rejoining, he has taken on active leadership roles, joining the Management Committee in 2023 and being appointed President in 2025. Passionate about community development, Brother Mustapha is committed to strengthening the character, unity, and capabilities of the society. He strongly believes in empowering the next generation to surpass the achievements of their predecessors. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management (Summa Cum Laude) from Singapore Management University and has been honoured with the SINDA Academic Excellence Award and the MENDAKI Anugerah Cemerlang Award for his academic accomplishments.

Mohamed Jaafar Bin Peer Mohamed

Vice President
Brother Jaafar is the Vice President of STMWS and has been serving the community since 1990. As General Manager at H. Warta Pte Ltd, he brings strong leadership and extensive grassroots experience to the society. He has held key roles within STMWS, including in the Education and General Secretarial portfolios. Beyond STMWS, he was Secretary of Waterfalls Student Care Centre (1999–2019) and has served as Assistant Secretary at Masjid Moulana Mohd Ali since 2005. He is also active in FIM, currently as Deputy Assistant Secretary. Brother Jaafar contributes widely to the Muslim community through MUIS, having served on the Indian Muslim Committee Steering Committee (2020–2023) and teaching under the Asatizah Recognition Scheme (QTRS) since 2018. His religious education work began in 2002. His dedication earned him several awards: MUIS Jasa Bakti Award (2020), Zak Salam Community Award (2025), and a Long Service Award (2025) from Masjid Moulana Mohd Ali. He also served on the editorial boards for STMWS’ 75th and 82nd anniversary souvenir magazines.

As Manager, Commercial Operations for APAC & IMENA at T.D. Williamson Asia Pacific, he supports key pipeline operators like Petronas, Pertamina, and Saudi Aramco, managing orders ranging from USD 500K to USD 5M. In the past five years, Ameen has led high-value proposals and contract execution by aligning cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance, and maintaining commercial integrity. His work spans pipeline isolation, integrity management, and engineered service solutions. Known for collaborative leadership, he mentors regional teams, builds capabilities, and fosters knowledge sharing. His strategic yet hands-on approach drives growth in competitive markets. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Offshore) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Mohamed Ayub Bin Said Abdul Kader

1st Assistant Honorary General Secretary
Brother Mohamed Ayub currently serves as a Master Warrant Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where he has earned multiple commendations and held several key appointments. A standout achievement in his distinguished career was serving as Parade Regimental Sergeant Major for the National Day Parade 2024. In 2019, he attended the prestigious U.S. Sergeants Major Course in El Paso, Texas, where he clinched the Top International Student Excellence Award, bringing pride to the SAF and Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Factors and Systems with Military Studies from the Singapore University of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Workforce Development from the U.S. Army Command and Staff College. As a believer in lifelong learning, he is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Instructional Design and Technology at the National Institute of Education. Having grown up participating in STMWS activities, Brother Mohamed Ayub joined the Management Committee in 2023. In 2025, he furthered his commitment by assuming the role of 1st Assistant Honorary General Secretary.

Brother Nikmat Ali brings a diverse and dynamic professional background to his role, with roots in Mechanical Engineering within the marine industry. Over the years, he has held several key positions, including Senior Technical Purchasing Manager and Vessel Technical Auditor. Expanding his expertise into the technology sector, he currently serves as an IT Service Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this capacity, he has taken on leadership roles such as Team Lead and Project Head. A key highlight of his career is his current appointment as the Lead Trainer for Server Maintenance. Brother Nikmat Ali holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with Logistics from the University of Hertfordshire. He is also certified in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) and is a certified Security Consultant through NTUC LearningHub.

Manja Habib

Honorary Treasurer
Brother Manja Habib, a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice graduate from Flinders University, currently serves as in-house counsel at a prestigious local university. He manages legal matters involving collaborations with industry partners and universities worldwide. His commitment to community service through the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) began in 2008. Over the years, he has held several executive committee positions, including Assistant Secretary, before being appointed Honorary Treasurer. In this role, Brother Habib is responsible for overseeing the society’s finances, ensuring prudent fund management, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with financial regulations to sustain STMWS’s financial health. Between 2019 and 2020, he contributed to the smooth operation of the Waterfalls Student Care Centre. Shikkander s/o Maideen

Assistant Honorary Treasurer
Brother Shikkander is the Director of EDS Aviation Pte. Ltd., a company that provides medical evacuation services for patients from one country to another via air ambulance. It is the first and only company in Singapore that is operated by an Indian Muslim. Brother Shikkander founded this organisation and has been successfully running it for the past 13 years. With 37 years of experience across various sectors of the airline industry, Brother Shikkander brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in handling critical situations related to air evacuations and transportation matters. He has been a member of STMWS since his teenage years and has actively participated in various events and contributed to many areas for nearly 50 years. Brother Shikkander pioneered STMWS's Islamic trips in 1994, organising visits to places such as Iraq, Jerusalem, and for Umrah and Hajj. As the former Education Secretary, he consistently promotes sports and education as key activities to foster bonding among children, youth, and seniors within STMWS. Having served as Education Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and currently as Assistant Honorary Treasurer, Brother Shikkander has been a dedicated and active committee member for decades.

Brother Abdul Subuhan has been serving the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society since 2015. With 30 years of administrative experience in the life insurance industry, he currently works as an Admin Officer at Great Eastern Life Assurance. As a committed Tenkasian, Brother Abdul Subuhan has contributed in various capacities within the society, including as Assistant Treasurer and Committee Member. He has actively participated in organising key events such as Family Day and continues to work closely with fellow committee members to support the smooth execution of annual activities. Known for his dependable nature and team spirit, Brother Abdul Subuhan consistently steps up to do his part for the community whenever needed. Abdul Wahab Bin Manja Maideen

Brother Abdul Wahab began his career as an equipment and process engineer, working for several multinational corporations before advancing to Engineering Manager, serving clients across the Asia Pacific region. Later, he transitioned into sales and marketing, earning an MBA in Marketing to better equip himself for this new path. After a decade of experience as a sales manager, he ventured into entrepreneurship. For the past 20 years, he has been the Director of a private company with offices in Singapore and Indonesia. The company employs about 35 people, collaborates with partners throughout the Asia Pacific, and markets its products globally. Brother Abdul Wahab has been a member of the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) for over 35 years. He currently serves as a committee member and held the role of Treasurer for eight years from 2017 to 2025. Drawing on his extensive professional experience, he hopes to contribute meaningfully to STMWS by enhancing the society and supporting the welfare of fellow members.

Abdul Wahab s/o Hajar Mydin

A dedicated Transport Supervisor by profession, Brother Abdul Wahab’s journey with the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society began in the mid-1980s. Encouraged by his late father-in-law, Al Marhum Aboo Baker, he stepped forward to serve the community and initially contributed as a Committee Member and Auditor until the early 1990s. Due to work commitments, he stepped down but returned in 2010 with renewed commitment and has remained an active member of the Management Committee ever since. Known for his jovial personality and unwavering dedication, Brother Abdul Wahab is a familiar and respected face at all society events. He consistently volunteers his time and is actively involved on the ground, supporting the smooth execution of events and activities. His long-standing service reflects not only his loyalty but also a deep-rooted desire to give back to the community that has been such an important part of his life.

Hasan Kutus

Brother Hasan Kutus has been a dedicated and long-standing member of the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) since 1966. He served with distinction as the Society’s longest-serving Honorary Treasurer from 1987 to 2008, before taking on the roles of Vice President (2010–2011) and President in 2012. Over the decades, Brother Kutus has played a pivotal role in many of STMWS’s key milestones and achievements. A highly respected figure in the Indian Muslim community, Brother Kutus served on the Board of Masjid Moulana Mohamed Ali from 1991 to 2024. His community involvement extends across initiatives by FIM, MUIS, SINDA, and MENDAKI, reflecting his deep-rooted commitment to public service. Admired for his soft-spoken, gracious demeanour and unwavering sense of integrity, Brother Kutus is widely regarded as a mentor, role model, and trusted leader. His humility and sincerity have left a lasting impact on those around him. In recognition of his decades of service, he received MUIS’s Anugerah Jasa Bakti award in 2017. In 2023, STMWS honoured him with its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his enduring dedication and contributions to the community.

Mohaideen Abdul Kadir Bin Gose Ahmad Sha

Brother Mohaideen Abdul Kadir Bin Gose Ahmad Sha currently serves as Senior Assistant Director of Training at the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), with over 15 years of dedicated service. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including CNB Certificates of Commendation, the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Ops Excellence Awards, Long Service Awards for 10 and 15 years, and the Singapore Police Force Long Service & Good Conduct Medal. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore (2008) and was honoured with the Siemens-NUS-TUM award in 2006. Additionally, he earned a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment. Driven by a strong commitment to community service, Brother Mohaideen joined the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) in 2025. His connection with STMWS dates back to his youth, inspired by his father, who was previously a committee member. Mohamad Ariff Bin Said Abdul Kader

Brother Mohamad Ariff Bin Said Abdul Kader is the Director of Desisti Asia Pte Ltd and Voltage Pro Pte Ltd. He holds a Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Newcastle, Australia and has built a successful career in the engineering and electrical sectors. He began his journey with Desisti Asia in 2007 as an Assistant Project Engineer and gradually rose to become a partner at Desisti Asia. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous high-profile stage lighting and rigging projects across the region, including Victoria Theatre, Capitol Theatre, the Esplanade, and NagaWorld in Cambodia. In 2019, he established Voltage Pro Pte Ltd, which started with residential projects and has since expanded into the commercial sector, delivering large-scale electrical and AV solutions. Beyond his professional life, Brother Ariff served in the Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC) from 2010 to 2022. He held key leadership roles, including Manpower and Planning Officer for Jurong Division, and actively contributed to major national deployments like F1 and National Day Parade. His commitment to community service includes his role in STMWS, where he served as a committee member from 2017 to 2021 and returned to serve again in 2025.

Muhamad Husain Bin Gose Sultan Hameed

Brother Muhamad Husain Bin Gose Sultan Hameed has dedicated his career to public service, beginning with the Housing & Development Board (HDB) after completing his National Service. At HDB, he managed and maintained industrial estates comprising over 700 units, liaising with agencies such as SCDF, SP Services, and Singtel. His responsibilities included administering repair and construction works, site inspections, budgeting, and enforcement on estate cleanliness and illegal unit usage. He also played a key role in the agency’s transition to paperless workflows, training staff in new digital systems. Recognised for innovation, he was consistently among the top contributors to the Staff Suggestion Scheme. During the SARS outbreak, he supervised logistics and traffic coordination at the Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre. As a three-term Quality Control (QC) team leader, he received a Gold Award at the QC Convention in 2001. He later joined the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), where he investigates employer non-compliance related to foreign worker welfare. His work has supported significant enforcement operations and contributed to key regulatory outcomes. For his efforts, he received the MOM Achievement Award (August 2012) and the Minister for Manpower Award (November 2012).

Muhammad Hussain Bin Mohamed Yacob

Brother Muhammad Hussain is an experienced IT professional specialising in technical support for satellite communication systems on vessels, including Fleet Broadband and VSAT. Over the years, he has successfully planned and executed both local and international projects, including the complex rollout of multiple vessel applications. His role has required close collaboration with vendors and internal teams, honing his project management and coordination skills. He has also developed strong interpersonal abilities through effective communication and user training across various levels. He holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from ITEL Learning Systems (S) Pte Ltd, and a Sound Mixing Level 4 Certificate from Bells Institute of Higher Learning Pte Ltd. Since entering the real estate industry in 2005, he has diligently honed his professional skill set, and a major highlight is his CEHA certification in real estate. Having successfully transacted over 300 deals, Brother Nijamudeen approaches each transaction with passion and dedication, embracing the unique challenges they bring, whether financial or emotional, to help clients achieve their goals. Beyond his career, Brother Nijamudeen has been actively involved in the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society since his youth. Brother Sulaiman has over 20 years of extensive experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) consultancy and management. He has worked as a Senior Advisory Consultant with various government agencies and authorities, including the Land Transport Authority, Ministry of Manpower, Building and Construction Authority, Housing Development Board, Urban Redevelopment Authority, and Changi Airport Group. His work spans a wide range of sectors such as aviation, civil engineering, semiconductor, marine dry dock, shipyard operations, national laboratories, infrastructure, and building management. He holds a Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (2014) and a Graduate Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (2020), both accredited by the Ministry of Manpower. He is a certified Workplace Safety and Health Manager and holds additional qualifications in Construction Productivity Management from BCA Academy and the Singapore Contractors Association Limited (SCAL). As a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (UK), he continues to upgrade his expertise to attain Chartered Status. Brother Sulaiman has been actively involved in STMWS since his youth, joining the Kompang Group in 1995 and becoming Kompang Group Leader in 2010. In 2023, he joined the Management Committee as a Committee Member, illustrating his passion to give back to the community.

Yahaya Bin Ismail

Brother Yahaya Bin Ismail currently serves as Chief Cashier at Crown Exchange Pte Ltd, where he has developed many loyal networks with both local and foreign counterparts. With over 40 years of experience in the money changing industry, he has played a significant role in regional business expansions. He has been actively involved in the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society since 1988, initially participating in activities before joining the Management Committee that same year. Since then, he has served in many capacities, including Treasurer (1988–1993), Education Secretary (1994–1996), Advisory Committee member (2014–2018), and Committee Member (2019 to date). Brother Yahaya actively participates in meetings, offering valuable insights drawn from his extensive experience and deep understanding of the Indian Muslim community. His contributions consistently help guide the committee’s direction and strengthen its outreach. His long-standing dedication reflects his commitment to the community and the society’s ongoing growth and success.

Ahamed Sha Sayed Majunoon

Brother Sayed Majunoon is a seasoned marine engineer with a Diploma in Marine Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Motor Ships). He spent 12 years serving in various capacities on Foreign-Going vessels before joining SMRT in 1985. At SMRT, he held key leadership roles including Maintenance Manager and Senior Training Manager. As a metro transportation consultant, he contributed to major rail projects in Mauritius, Dubai Palm Jumeirah, Delhi Metro, Mumbai Monorail, Singapore’s LTA, Bird Park, and ITE. A dedicated member of the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) for over 45 years, Brother Majunoon has served on the Executive Committee as Vice President, Education Secretary, and in various sub-committees. He was Editor of the STMWS Quarterly Newsletter and the 82nd Anniversary Magazine, and served on the Waterfalls After-School Care Management Committee from 2019 to 2021. In recognition of his longstanding service to the community, he was conferred the MUIS Jasa Bakti Award in 2024. He has represented STMWS at FIM (as Assistant Secretary and President), the Speak Tamil Movement (as Assistant Organising Secretary), and numerous national-level events. He has delivered talks including at the Singapore Indian Youth Conference (2000) and the Singapore Muslim Youth Engagement (1996), focusing on community contributions and youth empowerment.

Assan Masood

Brother Assan Masood is the Managing Director of a well-established Audit, Accounting, Tax, and Corporate Advisory firm in Singapore. He holds an Honours degree in Accountancy from the University of Singapore (now known as the National University of Singapore) and is a Fellow of three esteemed professional accounting bodies in Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Australia. He is also an Accredited Tax Advisor. From 2017 to 2025, Brother Assan served as President of the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS), where he played a pivotal role in expanding the society’s impact across religious, educational, and welfare programmes. He continues his service as a valued member of the STMWS Advisory Council. With over 40 years of accounting experience and a strong passion for community service, Brother Peer Mohamed has been an active member of the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) since 2015, serving as Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Secretary. After beginning his career at Leo Burnett, he transitioned to Jamiyah Singapore, where he managed financial operations supporting welfare, education, and global outreach programmes for the Muslim community. His meticulous budgeting and financial oversight ensured impactful and sustainable initiatives. Brother Peer is also the co-founder of BB Spices, a thriving business in Geylang Serai Market. Through this venture, he not only demonstrates his entrepreneurial acumen but also helps preserve the culinary and cultural heritage of the Indian Muslim community. BB Spices has become a trusted name among loyal customers for its authenticity and quality. Today, Br. Peer continues to serve as a member of STMWS's Advisory Council, contributing his professional insights and dedication. He remains committed to mentoring and inspiring others to work collaboratively toward the society’s upliftment and community development mission.

Mohamed Yacob Bin Kassim

Brother Mohamed Yacob is a retired delivery associate with over 40 years of experience in the logistics industry and a strong track record of exceptional customer service. A skilled communicator, he is fluent in Hokkien, English, Tamil, and Malay, allowing him to connect effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. His commitment to community service is evident through his past role as Chairman of the Kampong Tiong Bahru East Residents’ Committee, where he remains an active member, as well as his involvement as a founding member of Aflaaq Stars. Brother Yacob was awarded the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) in 2017 for his immeasurable contributions to the community. Beyond his professional and community contributions, Brother Yacob has nurtured a passion for cooking since the 1980s, running a part-time catering business that has brought joy to both intimate gatherings and large-scale events. A dedicated member of STMWS since the 1980s, he now continues his service as a valued member of the Advisory Council.

Shaik Alaudeen Bin Osman

Brother Shaik Alaudeen Bin Osman is a highly respected community leader with over three decades of dedicated service to the Indian Muslim community in Singapore, particularly in religious, educational, and cultural development. He served as President of the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) for ten years and now serves on its Advisory Board. Since 1992, he has been the Secretary of Masjid Moulana Mohd Ali, where he led construction, fundraising, and community engagement efforts. He also served as Secretary of Masjid Bencoolen from 1992 to 1994. A founding member of the Federation of Indian Muslims (FIM), he has served as Secretary and now as the 2nd Vice President. His leadership extends to national bodies. He was a MUIS Council member and Chairman of the Indian Muslim Committee, a Mendaki Board member, and chaired the Tamil Warita Editorial Board. He also led the Waterfall Student Care Centre for two decades and continues to contribute to the Nagore Darga Heritage Centre and Aflaaq Stars Educational & Cultural Society. In 2011, he was awarded the Pingat Jasa Bakti by MUIS for his distinguished service. A Fellow of ISCA, he is also a professional trainer and consultant. His lifelong dedication continues to uplift and inspire the community.

Basheer Ahmad Bin Mohd Yusoff

Brother N. Basheer Ahmad Bin Hj Mohd Yusoff joined the Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS) as a committee member in 2022 and was appointed auditor in 2025. With professional experience in the finance sector across both the financial and F&B industries, he brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a deep sense of service to the Society. His background has equipped him with the discipline and integrity essential for his role in ensuring financial transparency and accountability. Since 2022, he has been serving as a manager in a reputable firm, where he continues to hone his leadership and operational skills. Brother Basheer Ahmad finds fulfilment in his family life outside work and community commitments. He is a devoted husband and a caring, loving father, striving to balance his personal, professional, and community responsibilities with dedication and compassion.

Thurabsha Haja Bin Peer Mohamed

Inspired by his late father, K.P. Peer Mohamed, a devoted member of STMWS, Brother Thurabsha Haja’s journey with the Society began with a deep-rooted sense of purpose and belonging. He joined STMWS as a committee member in 1990 and has since taken on several roles over the years, contributing consistently to the Society’s development. His early involvement in various indoor and outdoor events helped him form lasting connections and foster a strong sense of community. Today, Brother Haja serves as an Auditor, where he plays a key role in upholding transparency and accountability within the organisation. Throughout his long-standing service, he has supported all STMWS programs and has always been an active participant. He continues to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, building strong relationships and reinforcing the values of STMWS. Committed to giving back and inspired by his father's legacy, Brother Haja remains dedicated to the growth and success of the community.
